We have a Choice

As we embark on another day we are able to freely move around, call or visit our families, put on a nice outfit and not have to ask can we go out. That’s right, I said, “ask.". There are some situations/relationships where it is a requirement, the clothing and even undergarments are checked before they can leave the home with a curfew pending.

Lunches are checked to see if they went out for lunch, Bodies are sniffed to check for other smells that are different from the one the sniffer is used to. Watching to see if the partner comes out of work……..Stalking.

This behavior is indicative of domestic violence. This behavior usually leads to more detailed aggression and then to physical violence to re-enforce the behavior

We are asking you to be aware of your surroundings. Be cognizant of changes in the appearance of the person on the receiving end of the violence. Hear and see the children that are trapped in the home, Look for behaviors that were not there yesterday. Listen without judgment and be accepting of the person.

Help is defined in many ways.....Contacting our government officials and ask for change
